The following is a transcript for Chapter 1: Homecoming of Tell Me Why.
Orphans[]
Delos Crossing, Alaska
March 1, 2005
Eddy: Hey Kiddo... I need to ask you a few questions, okay? Can you tell me what happened tonight?
Child: I went to show her my haircut. She had a gun. She--
Eddy: Take your time.
Child: She freaked out. I-- I--
Eddy: It's okay.
Child: No it's not! It's not okay! My mom tried to kill me, so... So I stabbed her. I killed my mother.
Long Time No See[]
Fireweed Residential Center
November 2, 2015
A montage showing an adult Tyler and Alyson Ronan waking up in their respective rooms and preparing for their reunion. Afterwards, Alyson rises from her chair.
Alyson: Okay, first... I'm gonna find the keys to the old house, then I'm going to drive to Fireweed and I'm not going to freak out. Everything's fine!
Alyson must look under her bedside to find a box.
Alyson: Oh, right! I stashed them down here!
Alyson must take the box and opens it to find the house keys alongside a goblin figure.
Alyson: [Chuckling] So that's where you've been hiding...
Keys added to inventory.
Alyson: Alright... I think I'm ready to go now.
Alyson must open her door and exit. The scene switches to Tyler picking up Aly's letter in his room.
Tyler: Oh, Aly... She's gonna be so awkward.
He must place it down.
Tyler: I can't believe I'm about to leave this room for the last time... Okay, I'm pretty much done here... I just need to grab my goblin, and I'm off.
Tyler must look at and pick up a goblin figure on his desk.
Tyler: Hey, little guy. You're gonna be reunited with your sister soon.
The Crafty Goblins added to collectibles.
Tyler: Cool, I guess I'm totally ready to go now.
Tyler must open his door. He takes one last look around his room, then exits. Alyson drives along the road; she glances at the teddy bear, then tosses it out the window. Outside Fireweed, Alyson and Tyler walk towards each other.
Alyson: Hi Tyler.
Tyler: Hi? First time we see each other in ten years, and it's, "Hi Tyler"?
Alyson: Oh, sorry, I---
Tyler: It's fine, Alyson. Hi's a good place to start.
Alyson wraps Tyler in a hug.
Alyson: God it's good to see you.
Tyler: Likewise.
She lets go.
Alyson: You have anything else you need to get?
Tyler: Nope. This is it. My last ten years in a bag.
Alyson: Then we should get going. We just have time to make the morning ferry. You look good in that.
Tyler: Thanks. One of my mentees designed it.
Alyson: It's really good.
Tyler: Yeah, he's so incredibly talented. I got a couple of local coffee shops to hang his art.
Alyson: Tyler Ronan, shaping the leaders of tomorrow.
Tyler: Yep. We're screwed.
Alyson: So, you going to miss anything about this place?
The food
Tyler: Mmm. The sweet taste of overcooked halibut. But seriously, yeah, it was home. For a while, you know?
Tyler shrugs, and Alyson shrugs back.
Alyson: Oh. Yeah, that makes sense.
Tyler: I'm also really happy to never eat that halibut again. The people
Tyler: Honestly? The people. The other residents, my mentees, my counselor - Aaron. Took me while to fit in, but once I did, it felt like home. They made me feel safe. Safe enough to... be me.
Alyson: That's so great. I'm really happy for you.Alyson opens her car's passenger door and tosses Tyler's bag, then they make their way to the front doors
Tyler: We planning to drive to Delos Crossing, or push?
Alyson: You are welcome to walk.
Tyler: Nah, I'll take my chances.
Alyson: Need one last look or anything?
Tyler glances over at Fireweed as he opens the car door.
Tyler: Looked. Let's go.
They enter the car and drive off.
The Crossing[]
Alyson: No, really. I am 100% not creative enough to make that stuff up!
The scene fades in to show Tyler and Alyson in the latter's car, being transported across the lake on a ferry.
Alyson: Oh, and just last week, they had to turn the ferry around because a bear was onboard.
Tyler: No way.
Alyson: Someone heard a commotion in the back of a delivery truck, so they opened it up. And tehre was the bear, fat and happy on a literal mountain of empty chip bags.
Tyler: You go where the food is.
Alyson: Oh, I can relate to that.
Tyler: So then what happened?
Alyson: I'm not sure. I think they couldn't get him to leave, so they tranqued him.
Tyler: Aww, poor buddy. Shot in the ass just for getting the munchies.
Alyson: Yeah, well... you know what they say. "Safety first in bear country.
Tyler: Yeah, but prevention is best. Common sense goes a long way in keeping them from getting shot.
Alyson: The bear is fine, Tyler.
Tyler: For now.
Tyler and Alyson exit the car.
Tyler: You hear they've been talking about loosening up regulations on trophy hunting again? Higher bag limits, inhuman ground traps.
Tyler puts on his sunglasses and adjusts them in the side-view mirror.
Tyler: Even bringing back hibernation hunting! What kind of asshole gets off on killing a sleeping animal?
Alyson gives Tyler a look.
Tyler: I'm not against hunting, but predators play a vital role in the health of our natural parks! What? Why are you smiling? I'm being serious!
Alyson: Oh, I can tell, Ranger Tyler.
Tyler: Not yet. But at least I got the school part out of the way.
Alyson: Urgh, I can't believe you got a bachelor's already. While I, boast a half-completed certificate in accounting from an online college that... may have stolen by credit card number?
Tyler: You'll figure out what you want. You have time.
The two lean on the ferry's railing.
Alyson: How are you feeling?
Tyler: Like I'm about to drive straight into a whiteout, and my fog lights are dead.
They pause. The player can now move the camera as the twins converse.
Tyler: What about you? Alyson?
Alyson: Woah, zoned out there for a second, sorry.
Tyler: What's up?
Alyson: I'm sorry, just... Trying to wrap my head around the fact that you're right here. Standing beside me. On our way to Delos.
Alyson: You don't have to apologize. It's... a lot.
Look at road
Tyler: Why did we take the ferry instead of the coast road?
Alyson: Cause I didn't want to be stuck in the car with you for an extra two hours.
Tyler: Ha-ha.
Alyson: We have to take the ferry, it's the only way to reach Delos from Fireweed.
Tyler: I see. Well, good. I don't think my stomach could've taken two more hours of how you handle curves.
Alyson: I'm sorry, do you want to take over driving when we dock?
Tyler: Nope.
Alyson: You're going to have to get back behind that wheel at some point, you know.
Tyler: Look, I put a Fireweed van nose-first in a ditch.
Alyson: Hey, at least you missed the porcupine.Tyler: I'm guessing things haven't changed much.
Alyson: You mean in Delos? Still the capital of East Jesus Nowhere. Can't wait to get outta here.
Small town life...
Tyler: Guess that 'normal life' you wanted didn't live up to your expectations, huh?
Alyson: I mean... having cable and full-time electricity was definitely a plus. But no one ever forgets anything in a small town. You get marked as a weirdo, and that's it. That's your life. That bad?
Tyler: Was it really that bad?
Alyson: Pretty much. But it could definitely have been worse.
Tyler: Like... if you'd been tucked away in a center for troubled youth?
Alyson: Right.(Wait too long)
Alyson: If I were you, I'd keep my expectations low.
Tyler: Was it really that bad?
Alyson: Pretty much. But it could definitely have been worse.
Tyler: Like... if you'd been tucked away in a center for troubled youth?
Alyson: Right.Tyler: At least you had Michael!
Alyson: Yeah... I don't think I'd have survived high school without him.
Tyler: Bet you're gonna miss him when you move to Juneau... How's he doing?
Alyson: Good! Good, good... But I haven't seen him outside of work, lately. He's been busy with his dance and helping his clan organize a potlatch.
Alyson: Is that... smoke coming out of Stone House?
Point out Stone House
Tyler: Guess someone finally bought that old shack.
Alyson: That, or the ghosts are cosying up by the fire.
Tyler: Think the new owners know it's totally haunted?
Alyson: I'm sure Tina did her best to keep them from figuring it out... At least until the paperwork was signed. Ugh... That house always gave me the creeps... Those windows are like huge gawking eyes.
Tyler: You think people talk about our house this way?
Alyson: Probably...Point out other house
Tyler: That one over there?
Alyson: No, the one just beyond it. You know, the one the elders say is haunted the spook little kids.
Tyler: Oh, right.
Alyson: Oh, a whole group of us were drinking at a bonfire down at the point and got dared to go inside. We... didn't make it past the garden.
Tyler: Sounds fun.
Alyson: Uh... it was.(Wait too long)
Alyson: Guess someone finally bought it. You remember all the urban legends about it?
Tyler: Mmh... Ish.Tyler: So, we're really going back there, huh.
Alyson: To Stone House?
Tyler: I meant—We're going "home".
Alyson: Yeah. Yeah we are.
Tyler: Think the house will sell?
Alyson: No interested buyers yet... Turns out, people don't line up to buy murder houses with no electricity.
Tyler: At least it's got one hell of a view. ...Unlike Juneau.
Alyson: Hey, Juneau has mountain views aplenty. It just also has people, and fun... You still thinking you might be my roomie?
Tyler: Thinking about it.
Alyson: Hey... Can I ask you a question?
Sure.
Tyler: Shoot.Again?
Tyler: I don't know, you've been asking a lot of questions.
Alyson: What? I, eh, sorry. I guess I was a little overexcited.
Tyler: I'm just messing with you! Ask away.(Wait too long)
Alyson: Guess I'm not the only one spacing out.
Tyler: Sorry. What were you saying?Alyson: I was tol—um, I mean. After you... Well, 'graduated', I guess. And became a mentor three years ago. You... still basically spent all your time at Fireweed, right?
Tyler: Pretty much. There were a few times I tried to go to these meetups for trans people in Juneau, but something always came up. I probably should have put myself out there more, but... It was better to be around in case the residents needed me.
Alyson: So you were free to come and go as you pleased.
Tyler: Yeah, uh why do you ask?
Alyson: Oh nothing, just... Being an overly invested sister! Curious how you spent your time.
Scenic shows of the lake are shown before Tyler looks back at Alyson.
Tyler: Alyson?
Alyson: Yeah?
Tyler: Spit it out.
Alyson: Okay. You need to promise not to freak out.
Tyler: What is it?
Alyson holds out a ring to Tyler. Tyler takes the ring, then momentarily lifts his sunglasses.
Alyson: It's a gift. From Eddy. I know he's not your favorite person, but--
Tyler: I'm sorry. When you said Eddy, I thought you meant Chief Brown. As in the police officer who arrested me.
Alyson: Come on Ty, don't--
Tyler: And your adopted father. The man who didn't let you visit me for seven years.
Alyson: The Fireweed administration backed him up, Tyler. They thought it was best for both of us.
Tyler: Yeah, well, it wasn't.
Alyson: It's a peace offering. And you're the two most important people in my life. Please? For me?
Tyler: He can't buy my forgiveness with some cheap ass trinket.
Alyson: It's a gift, Tyler. You know what gift-giving means in Tlingit culture. And what it means to refuse one.
Fine
Positive symbol is shown.
Tyler: Fine. I'll take it. But I'm not going to wear it.
Alyson: Really?!
Tyler: Really. Just so we're clear, this was for you. Not Chief Brown.
Alyson: You know, you could call him Eddy. Or even... Uncle?
Tyler: Humph. Hard pass.I can't accept this
Tyler sets the ring down.
Tyler: I can't accept this. I'm just not there yet.
Alyson: Alright.
Alyson takes the ring back.
Tyler: You gonna mope about that for the rest of the day, or what?
Alyson: I just hoped you might make an effort, that's all.
Tyler: An effort? It's 'an effort' not to punch something whenever you say his name.
Alyson: Can't you just cut him a break? He was doing the best he could with a truly shitty situation.I don't care
Tyler: Exactly.
Tyler tosses the ring overboard.
Alyson: Seriously? That was childish! What is wrong with you?
Tyler: No need to be so dramatic.
Alyson: I'm the one who's being dramatic?! Ugh, God...(Wait too long)
Alyson: I know this is weird. But Uncle Eddy's my family. He put up with me at my absolute worst, and has always been consistent and kind.(Wait too long again)
Alyson: You know what?
Tyler: Okay, fine! I'll take it! Whatever.
Alyson takes the ring from his hand.
Alyson: Just forget it.
Tyler: I said I'd take it!
Alyson: And I said forget it.Splashing noises and faint whale sounds can be heard.
Tyler: Did you hear that?
(Didn't toss the ring)
Tyler and Alyson walk to the other side of the boat, Alyson grabs Tyler's arm as a whale emerges from the lake.(Tossed the ring)
Tyler and Alyson walk to the other side of the boat, Alyson and Tyler watch as a whale emerges from the lake.Tyler: Woah!!
The whale splashes back into the water.
(Chose "Fine")
Tyler: There's no place like home.
Alyson: Yeah.
They lean on the railing again.(Chose "I don't care")
Tyler: So... that was an asshole move.
Alyson: To put it mildly.
Alyson walks to the railing, pointedly ignoring him.
Tyler: I deserve that... I'm sorry I tossed the ring...
Alyson: I'm sorry too. I just hoped we could wrap everything up with a grand gesture and move on to our perfectly normal lives.
Tyler: What, this isn't normal?
Alyson is silent. Tyler holds out his pinky finger.
Tyler: Still your brother?
Alyson locks their pinkies.
Alyson: Still your sister.(waited too long twice)
Tyler: So, I'm a jerk.
Alyson: You just always need to have the last word.
Tyler: In other words, a jerk. I didn't mean to dig in like that, I'm sorry.
Tyler brushes his hand against Alyson's arm, and they lean on the railing again.
Alyson: Still your sister.Alyson: Would it ruin the moment if I said I needed to call home?
Tyler: Uh, yes. Completely.
Alyson: Sorry.
Tyler: Go ahead. And stop apologizing all the time!
Alyson: Okay. Sorry. Thanks.
Alyson picks up her phone, and Tyler can walk around the boat. He can listen in on Alyson's phone conversation.
Alyson: Hey, it's me. Yep, we didn't die in a fiery crash. How're you?
(Took the ring)
Alyson: He took the ring. So, I'd say the first steps have been taken.(Didn't take the ring)
Alyson: He... he wasn't ready to take it. I'm sorry, uncle.Alyson: Yeah, the drive took longer than I thought it would. We're on the ferry right now. Uhuh. I know, I know. Yeah. Yeah... I've been driving in this stuff for five years. I'll be fine. That's not going to happen. Okay. See you soon.
Alyson leans against the railing, and Tyler can join her.
Alyson: Hey again.
Tyler: Fancy meeting you here.
(Look at the burnt building)
Tyler: Damn. I watched the cell footage you sent me, but... seeing it for real is wild.
Alyson: Yeah... it was terrible. You could smell the smoke all the way from Delos Crossing.
Tyler: Two years later and they haven't cleaned it up at all?
Alyson: The company went under after and, surprise, no one else is eager to take it on.
Tyler: Someone died right?
Alyson: Yeah. It was a crazy day.(Look at dock)
Tyler: Hey! Didn't we used to swim off that dock? Wait, no. That was on the lake.
Alyson: Oh, uh. They pulled that one out.
Tyler: What!? No! Man, so many good memories...
Alyson: Of pushing me into the lake?
It wasn't me!
Tyler: Pfft! The neighbor kid was the one who pushed you in all the time!
Alyson: Yeah...
Tyler: What's he up to?
Alyson: Bobby? I, uh... kind of dated him...
Tyler: No way!
Alyson: Yeah, I always seem to attract the assholes... Another reason why I'm not dating right now.Kids are dicks
Tyler: Sorry about that. Kids are dicks.
Alyson: Yes, well. I only accept apologies in the form of chocolate.
Tyler: Deal.(Look at forest)
Tyler: There's nothing like the open air.
Alyson: Hey, you send your application to Denali yet?
Tyler: Uh... not yet. I need way more experience.
Alyson: You're not applying to run the entire national park. They've gotta have something entry level, right?
Tyler: Yeah, but. I've done no internships, no volunteer work... They probably get hundreds of applicants, and I've got nothing to show.
Alyson: Come on, you don't know that. Doesn't hurt to try.(Look at cannery)
Tyler: Cannery's still going strong, huh?
Alyson: Not sure what people would do around here if it weren't...(Idle)
Alyson: You know, since there's no electricity at the house, we should totally make a campfire.
Tyler: Ooh, yes.
Alyson: Mmh, I can already smell the gooey marshmallows and warm chocolate...
Tyler: Clear sky full of stars overhead... The wail of a loon resonating on the empty lake...
Alyson: Alright, Wordsworth.
Tyler: Hey, that's a compliment.(Spoke with Alexander Gershwin)
Alyson: Did you make a friend?
Tyler: I did. We're hitting Bernie's tonight to watch the game, drink beer, and complain about our wives.
Alyson: Sounds like an enchanting evening.
(Said "Tyler Ronan")
Tyler: Yeah, no. He, uh... Spooked at the name Ronan.
Alyson: Oh, I see.(Otherwise)
Tyler: Gonna have the time of our lives.(Idle while nearing harbor)
Alyson: I can see the harbor. We're almost there.
Alyson turns around and rests her elbows on the railing.Optional Conversation with Alexander Gershwin[]
Tyler can start a conversation with Alexander. Looking at certain objects will also prompt the conversation.
(Talk to Alexander)
Alexander: Morning.
Tyler: Hello.
Alexander: Enjoying the ride?
I love it
Tyler: I don't think I could ever get tired of this.
Alexander: Agreed.Not my thing
Tyler: I'm more of a dry land, firm ground kind of guy.
Alexander: I hear ya. But this sure beats the city anyday.(Wait too long)
The conversation ends. Tyler can choose to manually speak with Alexander afterwards.(Map)
Tyler: Hey Alyson? Can we take the scenic route? ...Alyson?
Alexander: Don't think she can hear you.
Tyler: Guess not.
Alexander: Good call, by the way. Scenic route's longer but the view's worth the time.(Truck back)
Tyler: Mmh.
Alexander: Impressive, ain't she?
If you say so...
Tyler: If you say so.
Alexander: I know some folks think an .06 is old and boring. But I've dropped moose from the thump with this one for years! You going hunting?
Tyler: You planning to land a moose with that?
Alexander: Good eye. Won a draw on a bull tag up this way.
Tyler: You got your license and tag on you?
Alexander: Why yes, officer. Everything's in order.(Wait too long)
The conversation ends. Tyler can choose to manually speak with Alexander afterwards.Alexander: You hunt?
I prefer fishing
Tyler: I fish, mostly.
Alexander: No shame in that. Anyway, you'll find that there's lots of good fishin' spots 'round here, if you know what to look for.Never tried it
Tyler: Never had the chance, no.
Alexander: Too bad. Ain't nothing like layin down the hammer on a big damn animal to make you feel alive.(Wait too long)
The conversation ends. Tyler can choose to manually speak with Alexander afterwards.(Truck stickers)
Tyler: Yikes.
Alexander: Hey, I heard that.
Tyler: Hey man, it's your truck. You do you.
Alexander: Same to you. Live and let live. Just a sticker.Alexander: Where you headed?
Tyler: Uh, Delos Crossing?
Alexander: Same here! You from around here?
Born and bred.
Tyler: Born and bred.
Alexander: Huh, you don't say! I moved to Anchorage 'round your age. Delos was mostly Alaska natives then. Tlingit, Haida... Haven't been home in five years.
My sister wants to move
Tyler: My sister's planning to move to Juneau.
Alexander: Good for her. Most folks I know never tried living anywhere else. You visiting family?
Tyler: So... you owed your family a visit.
Alexander: I'll say. You may not know it yet, but your folks? They get old real fast.
Tyler: Right.(Wait too long)
The conversation ends. Tyler can choose to manually speak with Alexander afterwards, restarting from the beginning.Just visiting.
Tyler: Just in town for a few days.
Alexander: I see. Any relatives in the area?
My sister.
Tyler: My sister. And she's moving soon.
Alexander: This a good-bye trip then?
Tyler: Huh. Something like that.Just passing through.
Tyler: Like I said, just passing through.
Alexander: Well, however short it may be, sure you'll 'preciate your time. It's a beautiful place.(Wait too long)
The conversation ends. Tyler can choose to manually speak with Alexander afterwards, restarting from the beginning. You got people here?
Tyler: Do you have people in Delos?
Alexander: My folks, a younger brother, and a lot of friends. Most people I know never moved on.Enjoy the ride
Tyler: Well, enjoy the rest of the crossing, sir.
Alexander: You too, young man, you too.
The conversation ends.(Wait too long)
The conversation ends. Tyler can choose to manually speak with Alexander afterwards, restarting from the beginning.(Wait too long)
The conversation ends. Tyler can choose to manually speak with Alexander afterwards, restarting from the beginning.Alexander: I'm Alex, by the way. Alex Gershwin. No relation.
Tyler: Huh?
Alexander: To George Gershwin?
Tyler: Um...
Alexander: Gershwin! The pianist! Folks are always asking if we're related, so I try to head it off at the pass.
Tyler: Oh.
Alexander: Uh... What d'you say your name was?
Tyler Ronan
Tyler: I didn't. I'm Tyler. Tyler Ronan.
Alexander: I, uh... Ronan, huh... Ronan as in, the Ronans?
Tyler: Uhuh.
Alexander: So, uh... you're... Never knew those girls had a brother.
Tyler: We didn't.
Alexander: Ah... I, uh...
Tyler: Nice talk.
Alexander: Yeah. Enjoy your time in town, Tyler.Just call me Tyler
Tyler: Just call me Tyler.
Alexander: Alright.. Good to meet you, Tyler.
Tyler: Likewise, sir.(Wait too long)
The conversation ends. Tyler can choose to manually speak with Alexander afterwards, restarting from the beginning.Tyler can talk to Alex again.
Alexander: I'll see you 'round town.
Upon reaching land, any activity the player is engaging in will be interrupted.
Alyson: Alright, we're here. Shall we?
Tyler: Let's go.
Alyson: Back to the car, Ronan.
Alyson and Tyler enter the truck and, after arriving, drive off the dock and towards their childhood home. If the player chose to enter Alyson's car, this scene will be skipped to early.
A Big Wooden House[]
[TBC]
After Alyson takes a seat on a bench, Tyler can join her.
Tyler: You need a break already, Ronan?
Alyson: No, just sitting. Enjoying the view.
Seriously, how are you?
Tyler: Seriously, how are you feeling?
Alyson: Tired. I didn't sleep much last night.
Tyler: Yeah. I can't believe how we used to run around for hours without stopping.
Alyson: Yeah.... Always a troll to run away from. Or treasure to find.
Tyler: We definitely never lacked imagination.
Alyson: Mary-Ann didn't either. It was the one thing that brought us all together. Even in the end.
Tyler: She told a new story, didn't she? That night? It was... weird. She built this bench
Tyler: She built this bench, right?
Alyson: If you're trying to scare me off so you can steal my seat, it won't work.
Tyler: No, I just remember us all sitting here after. I fell asleep and woke up really stiff after.
Alyson: I don't remember us sitting anywhere for more than a few seconds. Which sounds exhausting now.
Tyler: Guess we're just old.
Alyson: At least we've got a few more years before we're...
Tyler: As old as her?(Wait too long) or Let's get inside
Tyler: Come on, that's enough rest for us. Let's get inside.
Alyson: Alright.[TBC]

Blood Oath[]
A flashback to the night of Mary-Ann's death, picking up directly from the last one.
Mary-Ann: Stop!
Young Tyler: Alyson! Alyson!
As he runs, Tyler trips over into the mud. As he gets up, he spots the Mad Hunter, who grins an inhumanly-wide smile at him.
Young Tyler: The Mad Hunter!
Tyler runs out onto the dock; as he catches his breath, he notices Mary-Ann advancing slowly behind him and backs away.
Young Tyler: Please, mom! I'm sorry I cut my hair. I won't do it again!
Mary-Ann points her gun at Tyler.
Mary-Ann: I'm going to kill you.
Young Tyler: No! Please, please--
Tyler lowers onto the deck, his mother's aim following him.
Young Tyler: Mom, no... Mom, please... No, don't do this...
Mary-Ann groans in pain; Tyler looks up to see her pull a pair of scissors out of her back, then backing away to find a terrified Alyson.
Mary-Ann: Alyson? ... This isn't... What...
Mary-Ann falls into the lake. Alyson drops to her knees, and Tyler comes to her.
Young Tyler: Alyson?
Tyler places his arms on her shoulders.
Young Alyson: I killed her. I killed her.
Young Tyler: Alyson. We need to call for help.
Young Alyson: I killed her.
Young Tyler: No you didn't. I killed her. And when they come, that's what we're gonna tell them.
Young Alyson: No, no...
Young Tyler: Yes. We look out for each other. That's what goblins do. And brothers and sisters...
Tyler puts his hands on her face and presses their foreheads together.
Young Tyler: It's gonna be okay.
Tyler hugs Alyson.
Young Tyler: We're gonna be okay.
The camera pulls back from the twins hugging on the dock, then cuts to black.
END OF CHAPTER 1: HOMECOMING
