Kendra Harris-Guidry (Born on April 10) is a woman who can be found at Lakeview Cemetery in Tell Me Why by Dontnod Entertainment. After the death of her husband, Meech, Kendra became a resident of Delos Crossing, where she raises her daughter and visits her late husband's grave.

Appearance

Kendra has curly black hair tied back in a messy bun. She wears a blue jacket over a mauve sweater and a russet scarf, faded blue jeans, and pink slip-ons.

Personality

Kendra is a pleasant and polite person with a noticeable Georgian accent. Though she initially disliked Delos Crossing despite her husband's frequent attempts to convince her otherwise, she became attached to the town following his death. After receiving a job offer, she becomes torn over whether she should take it or move away to raise her daughter around her family.

Early life

Kendra was born and raised in Savannah, Texas, where she grew up alongside her cousins. While on their third annual trip to Delos Crossing on August 17, 2012, Kendra's husband, Meech, passed away in a fishing accident. Months later, Kendra gave birth to a daughter, Jayna.

Three years after Meech's death and about two years into her stay at Delos Crossing, Kendra was offered a job as a music and history teacher at a local high school. Though her mother advised her to come back to Savannah and give Jayna a better childhood, Kendra is conflicted over whether she is ready to leave Meech and the town behind.

Chapter 2: Family Secrets

While searching for Tessa Vecchi at Lakeview Cemetery, Tyler and Alyson Ronan can come across Kendra speaking to Meech's grave. If they strike up conversation, Kendra talks about her past before asking for Tyler's advice on whether she should stay in town. After telling her to stay, leave, travel, or make her own choice, Kendra expresses thanks towards the twins before they leave.

Kendra shows a deep, long-lasting grief over the loss of her husband, whom she affectionately refers to as "Meech", to the point where she stays in Delos Crossing in order to feel closer to his memory and find the beauty he saw in the town.

Jayna

Jayna is Kendra's daughter, who she mentions to have taken ice skating the previous Wednesday. Kendra shows concern and love towards Jayna, who is the main point of conflict in whether she should remain in Delos Crossing. Alyson can state that Jayna is "barely two-years-old", indicating that Kendra was early in pregnancy at the time of Meesh's death during summer 2012.

Alyson Ronan

As a resident of Delos Crossing, Kendra is a frequent customer of Vecchi's General Store and often crosses paths with Alyson due to her being an employee. They are somewhat familiar, as Kendra knows Alyson's name and Alyson is aware of Jayna's approximate age.
